At last!! I have to just drop you an email and say thank you for sorting out my lights!!

I had previously used an electrician to put some halogen lighting throughout my flat, however the lights in the two bedrooms were causing problems by randomly coming on and off. I could not get the original electrician to come back and sort out the problem so in the end I called and you were able to come straight away and fix what had been an ongoing nightmare!!

So the only flashing lights I'll have- will be the ones on my Christmas tree!!!

I like the whole operating model of CMhandyman.co.uk, which suits my way of doing things.

As the person paying, I don't have to hand over a large cheque at the start of the work, which is the usual way of dealing with builders in Britain. Instead, by handing over smaller amounts sof say £100 to £300 at a time, on each CmHandyman visit, I feel more in control of the cash flow. This working model allows me to commence a building job sooner because I do not have to save up an initial large lump sum.

In my experience, the normal working model of delegating a building job to a traditional building firm does not work. As a client, if I hand over a large cheque to a firm and walk away this leads to trouble. Either the staff do not show up, or the work is done to a poor standard or the making good is not done or the money is spent before the job is finished.

To avoid these kinds of problems I feel it is essential to be on-site and to get involved in the work and hiring handyman express allows me to do this. Personally, I also enjoy doing simple building tasks. With handyman express I find I can work alongside the building staff myself. I can manage and direct the work as it is being done. With CMhandyman.co.uk I know who is turning up and when. I get to know the different working strengths and skills of the building staff involved. I also get the opportunity to monitor progress and ensure quality is being maintained, directing the tasks as priorities change.

An advantage of CMhandyman.co.uk is the way staff are happy to work for short periods of time at either end of the day. As a shift worker, I find this flexibility useful as it helps me make the best use of my time. Most other firms will only want to work for a whole day or not at all.

Finally, I find that handyman express staff and management always have a 'can do' attitude that is refreshing. I know that whenever I ring up with a problem, I will get a solution. Whether it is fitting a shower pump or disposing of a hundred bags of building rubble they will solve my problem.
